COVID-19 UPDATES:

How Hometown Title is Responding

Given the recent developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to provide an update on the measures Hometown Title is putting into place. The health and well-being of our employees, agents and customers is our top priority and we're committed to protecting those around us. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by COVID-19 as we take the necessary precautions to help slow the spread of the virus.

While government regulations permit, we have staff available to help customers perform closings and other essential functions. Our employees are taking extra steps so our clients can continue to conduct business. Please contact our office for more information about how we are working to close transactions in your area.

Adjustments to Closing Practices and Other Steps Taken

Hometown Title has taken the following steps to help protect the health of our customers and employees:

  • Asking that non-essential parties refrain from attending closings and/or meetings
  • Making hand sanitizer available in our branch offices
  • Wiping down our closing room tables and chairs after each closing
  • Promoting best practices for personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness to employees
  • Ensuring employee work stations are more than six feet apart
  • Restricting non-essential travel as well as employee attendance at industry conferences and events
  • Directing any employee with symptoms of illness to stay home
